The Need To Conserve This Year

Hey SoCal, did you know that nearly 3 out of 4 Southern Californians report that it takes them more than four hours to prep their Thanksgiving meal, and almost 25 percent say it takes them all day?

A thawed, stuffed turkey of average size takes approximately 4 to 4.5 hours to cook at 350 degrees. Using an oven for an hour at that temperature uses approximately 2 kWh, so most people use about 8 kWh to cook their Thanksgiving turkey!

That’s a recipe for a lot of energy used and higher bills for SoCal residents this holiday season!

That’s why it’s important that we all continue to join in and conserve energy this holiday season.
